The Grand Ole Opry is the world’s longest running radio program. Broadcast from Nashville for 85 years at 650 am, GOO can be heard in 36 states and Canada.
Ruth and I went to The Ryman, the Mother Church of country music, last evening. A huge, delighted audience loved the show hosted by Larry Gatlin and the many tributes to George Jones.
Today we check out The Hermitage, Andrew Jackson’s home, Oaklands in Murfreesboro, etc. Reports to follow.
